Return Policy
At Core Creations, we want you to be delighted with your unique, handcrafted functional art and lighting. Because each piece is built to your specific order and personalized specifications, our return policy is different from mass-produced retail items. We work with you closely during the design and production process to ensure your vision is realized.
Please read our policy carefully before placing your order. By purchasing from us, you agree to the following terms.
1. Custom, Build-to-Order (BTO) Items: Final Sale
All products designated as "build-to-order," "custom," or "personalized" are considered final sale and are not eligible for returns, exchanges, or refunds, except in cases of damage, defect, or error on our part.
• This includes items where you have selected specific finishes, dimensions, materials, or designs that deviate from a standard, stocked product.
• We invest significant time and resources into creating your unique piece, which often has limited to no resale value.
• We strongly encourage you to review all design proofs, material samples, and specifications carefully before approving the final build.
2. Damaged or Defective Items
If your item arrives damaged during shipping or is defective, we will gladly repair or replace it at no additional cost to you.
• Timeframe: You must report any damage or defects within 10 days of delivery.
• Process:
1. Immediately email us at Corey@corecreationsllc.com with your order number and detailed photos of the damage (both the product and the original packaging).
2. We will assess the damage and provide you with instructions and a prepaid return shipping label, if necessary.
3. We will repair or replace the item promptly.
3. Non-Custom/Standard Items (If Applicable)
If we offer any standard, non-customized products (e.g., light bulbs, cleaning kits), these may be returned within 14 days of delivery for a full refund (minus original shipping costs).
• Condition: Items must be unused, undamaged, and in their original packaging.
• Return Shipping: The customer is responsible for return shipping costs for non-defective standard items. We recommend using a trackable and insured shipping service.
4. Cancellations & Order Changes
• Custom Orders: Due to the immediate start of the design and material acquisition process, cancellations or changes to custom/BTO orders are only accepted within 24 hours of purchase. After this window, the sale is final.
• Standard Orders: Standard item orders can be canceled before they ship.
5. Refund Processing
• Refunds, when applicable, will be issued to the original method of payment within 7 to 10 business days after we receive and inspect the returned item.
• Shipping costs are generally non-refundable, except in cases where the return is a result of our error.
