About Corey
Corey Stubbs Fusick is the artist and maker behind CORE Creations — a workshop built on curiosity, creativity, and a deep respect for materials with history. With a background in hands-on making and an eye for the overlooked, Corey transforms reclaimed and salvaged objects into lighting and functional art that blend industrial edge with soulful design.
For Corey, creating isn’t just about building — it’s about connection. Living with ADHD has shaped her creative process, fueling a constant stream of ideas and experimentation that give each piece its own rhythm and character. What others might see as chaos, Corey sees as creative momentum — a way to channel energy into tangible, meaningful design. Her work stands as proof that focus can take many forms, and that inspiration often lives in the unexpected.
With an eye for the overlooked and a love of the weathered
Each creation begins as an idea sparked by texture, form, or found material — and evolves through Corey’s process of reimagining purpose and preserving story. Her work celebrates imperfection, craftsmanship, and the beauty found in renewal. Through CORE Creations, Corey brings warmth, authenticity, and a touch of storytelling to the spaces where art and function meet.

Our Story
Rusty Gold!
At CORE Creations, we transform reclaimed materials into handcrafted lighting and functional art with soul. Each piece carries a story—built to bring warmth, character, and authenticity into your space. What began as a passion for creative restoration has evolved into a workshop where craftsmanship meets purpose. We believe every mark, grain, and imperfection tells part of a bigger story—one of renewal, history, and human connection. Whether it’s a bourbon bottle lamp, a reclaimed barrel design, or a fully custom commission, each creation is built to honor the material’s past while lighting the path forward.

"I gave Corey dimensions, and said “make it awesome”. Boy did she deliver! As she sourced materials and came up with the design, she kept me informed every step of the way. She made suggestions but left ultimate decisions up to me.
The piece is a beautiful addition to my home, serving it’s purpose of being my media center, and looking amazing doing it. I’m so glad I asked Corey to make this piece for me—it will definitely not be the last (there’s two lamps in my house as well!)."
